Madhawa (Mads) Palihapitiya s the founding Director of the Conflict Early Warning Analytics Program (CEWAP) at the University of Massachusetts Boston’s Center for Peace, Democracy and Development (CPDD) Boston. He is an expert in social cohesion, conflict early warning, evaluation, alternative dispute resolution, research and teaching with over twenty years of experience in designing and implementing violence prevention, peacebuilding and dispute resolution systems in Asia, Africa, and North America.
