Sana Rasul Rais earned a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences. She has worked on a legal-aid project for Afghan refugees, conducted research on Sudan, and worked for a relief group in her home country. Most recently, she served as a research associate for a U.K.-based humanitarian organization.
